Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

My name is Kimber, 'Kimby Jones,' and I'm an oversized lap dog who loves to cuddle and look longingly into your eyes because personal space doesn't exist. When not laying across my owner's chest, I love sunbathing on the porch, going for walks and practicing my tricks (sit, place, say hello, and down). I'm very food motivated and get so excited during breakfast and dinner that I do my tippy-tap dance with my paws and sometimes howl in excitement. I'm not very high energy and I'm not into chewing. When I need to potty I will hop off the couch and stare into your soul until you let me out. Cuddling on the couch until I fall into a deep, snoring sleep is my favorite activity. I'm a little shy at first, but if you give me safe space to hide (like under the desk or dining table) I'll warm up to you when I feel safe.

I'm great at tricks and listening to cues, but I tend to use my paws to get your attention and I'm scared of strangers.

Is Kimber good with other animals?

I'm great with other adult dogs and I do okay with puppies, but I've never been around cats.

Is Kimber food with kids?

A home without children would be best.

Favorite toys?

I don't have any favorite toys, but I like having a bed to lay on when I get scared or too warm.

Ideal home?

My ideal home would have an owner who loves to cuddle on the couch with me and without small children. I'm not high energy so I don't require a lot of exercise, but I am big on attention, so your time is appreciated.
