General Socialization

I'm good in a crate, as I sleep, eat and hangout in my crate during the day when my foster mom is at work….it's also a safe place for me to observe what it going on.  I am kind of an escape artist…x-pens and baby gates are no match for my smart brain!  I can be loud sometimes, especially if I want to be hanging with my humans or if I have to go potty (which by the way, is going really well), so an apartment might not be the best place for me.  I also like to run and chase a ball, so a yard of my own would be AWESOME!

How is the dog with other animals?

I am good with other dogs and would probably do best in a home with another dog. I play well with my foster puppy sister, yet am respectful of the adult dogs in my foster home.  I do, however, have a tendency guard any chews / food with other dogs, so I would need some help.

How is the dog with children?

Because I am fearful with humans, I would probably do better in a home with children 10+ years old.

Favorite Toys:

Right now I only play with toys when my foster sister plays with me, but I am learning to play with toys by myself.  My favorite kind of toy is project / food dispensing toys…I like the workout my little brain gets (because I'm super smart) and of course I like the food that comes with figuring the toy out. I love to chew on appropriate chew things (hooves, bully sticks etc) but please don't give me rawhide as it is not good for me.
