General Socialization Notes:

I am completely housebroken and crate-trained, although I don't always need to be kept in my crate. I do very well out in the house when I'm home alone. You just have to watch out for your trash cans, tissues, and toilet paper!  I love ripping up paper!  You also need to watch out for your food/drinks as I am an expert food stealer.  I have never had any food aggression, though!  I am not much of a barker. I will bark at the neighbor dogs once or twice if they say hello to me, and sometimes I'll bark at thunder or fireworks, but I'm not scared of them.  I wiggle happily every time a new person comes to greet me!  I am so smart and know tons of tricks!

Does the dog like other pets?

I love playing with other dogs, and I mostly ignore cats. I've never lived with a cat, but I've met a few. They sure hated me, though!!  I think I would really enjoy having a dog brother or sister - someone to hang out with while the parents are away.

Does the dog like children?

I am a little rough with young kids. I'm not mean to them, I just don't understand them, so I try to herd them which seems to make them upset.  I would do better in a household with older children.

Favorite Toys:

I am very good at taking toys apart to see what makes them tick!  I believe it's a sign of genius!  I absolutely love my deer antlers and any strong toy you can put a treat inside for me to get out. I love playing tug of war, but I always end up shredding the tug toy.  I'll play fetch, but not for very long.

Forever Home:

I'm just looking for a family who will take me on walks, give me a little love and attention, and allow me to be part of the pack. I'm such a sweet girl, and I've got a lot of life to live and love to give!
