Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I am a sweet girl who is loyal to a fault. I love to go for walks and runs, but what I love most is protecting my family and my home. I can do some tricks for you and I love to train! I will let you know when someone is outside, but otherwise I'm fairly quiet. If you want a running partner, I'm there...if you want a couch warmer, I'm there as well! Do you have a quiet place for me to rest my head?

General Socialization Notes:

I am house trained, and I have had some obedience training as well. I live with another dog and a houseful of kiddos. It's getting hard for me not to be overly excited with so much activity going on my home all the time. I love car rides, especially going to Starbucks for a Puppaccino!

Does Roxy like other pets?

I love my canine brother and I have done well with other dogs while boarding. I have not met any cats or other animals.

Does Roxy like children?

I do great with calm, older children, but I prefer to be in a quiet environment without a lot of activity around me. I tend to get nervous around energetic younger kiddos, or those who are constantly moving.

Favorite toys?

My favorite toy is a squeaky plastic pig!

Ideal forever home?

I would love a family who is quiet and calm, yet who will take me on hikes and runs. I don't like when people are outside my home, so somewhere off the beaten path would be awesome! I need a family who will understand my need to protect them, and who will teach me how to do so appropriately. I will be fiercely loyal and loving, so I will expect the same in return!
