Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I'm very curious. I love every human I meet! I do have some anxiety when left alone, but mostly it's specific to being confined. I'd do okay if I'm able to be free in the home. I love to take walks and go on adventures. I'd do best as an only dog and in a home with older children, 8 years and older. I'd do well with calmer cats or with cats that are okay with dogs.

General Socialization Notes:

I love humans! I would do best as an only dog. While out on walks, I can be a bit reactive to other dogs if they are too close and bikes, scooters and things zipping past me can be scary. I'm working on that in my current home and learning how to focus on my human. I'm a very smart girl!

Does Charlotte like other pets?

I'd do best as an only dog. I'd do fine with cats that are calm and used to being around dogs.

Does Charlotte like children?

I'd do best in a home with older children, 8 years and older.

Favorite Toys:

I love soft toys, crackle chew toys, puzzle balls and kongs.

Ideal Forever Home:

I'd love a family that can maybe take me to work, or works from home since I feel a little anxious when left alone. Although, I feel better at home when I'm not confined. I'd need to be the only dog, so I can be your one and only. I'd also need a family that is willing to continue to work with me. I'd also do best in a home with older children and I'd be okay with calm cats.
