Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I'm a bit shy, but I warm up quickly. Once I feel comfortable, I'm spunky and I'm a lot of fun! I love car rides and enjoy adventures. I would do best as an only dog and in a home with no small children. Children 13 years old and up would be best.

General Socialization Notes:

I need to be an only dog. I am house trained and also, muzzle trained. I really like my crate, as well. I like to go inside my crate and it helps me to feel safe. I know all my basic cues and I'm a very smart girl. I walk well on leash. Sometimes, I am a bit reactive to other dogs.

Does Ellie Mae like other pets?

I'd do best as an only dog. I'd also like a home without cats. I am okay with chickens.

Does Ellie Mae like children?

I'd do best in a home with older children, 13 years old and up.

Favorite Toys:

I love squeaky toys, rope toys and plush toys! I'm still learning how to play fetch.

Ideal Forever Home:

I'd love a home that has a calm environment. I'd also like to be the only dog. I'd enjoy a backyard to run and play in. I'd do best in a home with older children, 13 years old and up and no cats, please. I also want a family who loves to cuddle, but also lets me have my own space when I need it.
