General Socialization Notes:

I love humans! When I am out on walks and I see other dogs, it makes me scared. I bark and pull really hard and it's difficult to get my attention when another dog is near. I get along with other dogs in particular environments, but sometimes I get anxious and I am not always comfortable. It will always be best for me to wear my custom muzzle when I'm out for walks or around other dogs - it gives me room to pant, take treats, drink water and it's bite proof. With my medication and training, I don't get as nervous when other dogs walk by the house, now I just let you know they are there and get back to my nap.

Does Pancake like other pets?

I need to be the only dog in the home. My mom and dad need to find me a new forever and perfect home because I have other fur siblings and it causes me stress. There's a kitty in our house, and sometimes she likes to come and take naps with me which I really like, but otherwise I usually leave her alone.

Does Pancake like children?

I love the girl in my house! When I was first brought home I slept in her bed every night. I haven't been around anyone younger than 12. 

Favorite Toys:

I love any toy I can lay down with and chew on with peanut butter. I like fetch, but my dad says it's really more like 'get' because I don't like sharing my toys with anyone. 

Ideal Forever Home:

I'd love to be your one and only, where I can give and receive lots of attention. I'd love a big, grassy yard where I can lay in the sun and smell the flowers. Sleeping next to you at night is my favorite thing, so if you could let me sleep in your bed that would be really great. I like my training exercises and I LOVE treats, so I'm really good with all of those things. I'd need you to keep up on my training and I think over time, I would be really good on walks around the neighborhood. But I will very likely never be able to have puppy play dates, go for hikes (because I'd be too close to other dogs) or go to the dog park. I just want a home where I can get the special attention I need and deserve because I'm a really special and good boy and I know I can be a wonderful friend to you! I get some separation anxiety, so if you have a job where you don't have to be away from home too long, that would be great because I will miss you too much. I'd do best in a home with children, 12 years old and older.
