Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I'm an energetic girl who loves to be outside. I want to go on so many walks! They are my favorite thing to do. I want to be with my people all the time and can be a little nervous when left alone. I am house trained but I also know how to use puppy pads.

General Socialization notes:

I am a little nervous meeting new people and will bark, but I'm a very sweet girl who just needs some patience while I build trust. Once we are friends, I don't want you to leave! I will follow you around everywhere and be your shadow. Being left alone is hard so my current foster leaves music playing for me when they leave the house. When my people come home after being gone, I am so happy to see them and have to give them kisses!

Does Chica like other pets?

I enjoy going to doggy daycare, but I do struggle with leash reactivity when I see other dogs while on walks and I would prefer to be the only pet in the house.

Does Chica like children?

I struggle with meeting new people and get scared easily, so it would be best for my home to not be with children.

Favorite toys:

I like squeaky toys and crinkly toys the most. I also enjoy playing tug. Shredding paper products is really fun too, so important papers should be kept out of my reach.

Ideal forever home:

I need a patient person who can help me to feel more confident meeting new people. I would really love if my new family could take me on lots of walks! I like to look my best, so I need someone who can commit to regular grooming and baths. I enjoy snuggling on the bed too.
