Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I'm a relaxed girl looking for a calm home where I can get lots of couch time and ear scritches! I love meeting new people and making friends. I am a lap dog and want someone who will let me snuggle up with them.

General socialization notes:

I have great manners when meeting new friends. I am a little nervous about being leashed and harnessed, so I need some practice. I am also working on my crate training but I can be left outside of the crate unsupervised.

Does Minnie like other pets?

I have lived with cats and dogs in the past and done very well. I want to meet every dog I see on walks but I am very polite in my greetings.

Does Minnie like children?

I need to have a home with no small children. I think children 10 yrs+ would be ok.

Favorite toys:

I love to play tug of war and chase after balls.

Ideal forever home:

I would do great in a home with other respectful pets, but I would also be ok as an only pet. I need a home without young children. I would love it if someone could be home with me most of the day because I bond very closely to my people and do not like to be alone very much. I enjoy going for walks but can also just cuddle up on the couch and take it easy.

I want to adopt Minnie!
