We have found a new home!

Dear Beloved Community:

As the Executive Director of All Breed Rescue & Training, I am ecstatic to give you news from the staff, board members, and volunteers of this organization.

Over the past several years we have come to you, our community, with pleas for help during what have been challenging times. This year, we are happy to come to you with an incredible announcement...

Please know that we never could have taken advantage of this opportunity were it not for you being there for us over the years. I recently re-read our past donation letters and was overwhelmed with gratitude as to how far we have come. When we were struggling financially in 2015 you responded with such incredible generosity that we were able to not only survive, but to thrive. In our 2016 letter, after thanking you for helping us rebound, I shared with you that, “One of our biggest goals for the near future is to move to a new facility.”

Thanks to your almost two decades of support for our programs and our mission, we have outgrown our current space and will be moving into our new facility this August.

Thanks to donors and dog lovers like you, we will now have over 13,000 square feet of space to allow us to continue saving dogs, educating the public, and creating a better Colorado Springs for both dogs and dog owners.

Within this space we will have 7000+ square feet for office space and kennels, as well as three training rooms. We will also have a separate 6000+ square foot Canine Lifestyle Center where we will hold larger classes, agility, barn hunt, confirmation classes, and canine nose work classes, as well as events, workshops, and seminars.

We will be having our Grand Opening AT OUR NEW FACILITY during our 19th annual Romp in the Park event, Saturday, August 26th, so mark your calendars now!

Now, as exciting as it is that we are moving into a new facility, there is no way we could move forward with this without making you, our community, an integral part of it. Therefore we have created multiple levels of sponsorship in which you can participate, solidifying your place in history as being a part of the foundation of ABRT’s new home.

Keep reading to learn more about these opportunities, which include sponsorship of our Training, Adoption, and Behavior Rooms, our dog kennels, and our Rainbow Bridge mural, just to name a few. I also want to be sure to mention that, thanks to you, we raised over $43,000 and landed in 4th place for all of the nonprofits who participated in the Indy Give! campaign in December 2016. We have been chosen to participate in this campaign yet again in 2017, our fifth year in a row. We also must thank Heuberger Subaru, who awarded ABRT $50,000 as a result of their “Share the Love” fundraiser. Lastly, for the third year in the row, the Colorado Springs community voted ABRT “Best Dog Trainer” in the Gazette’s Best Of the Springs! contest.

Again, it’s been such a pleasure to come to you with so much good news. You can help us keep this momentum going by using the donation links in the sidebar. I am both inspired and humbled by your unwavering support and look forward to what is bound to be one of ABRT’s most incredible years to date.

In gratitude,

Lauren Fox, Executive Director of All Breed Rescue & Training
