General Socialization Notes:

New things such as the vet or meeting strangers outside of my home aren't my favorite thing, so I'll need to work on my confidence. I tend to bark a bit at other people/dogs on walks, but I'm easily redirected. I get along with cats who respect my space, but would like to be the only dog in the home. I can resource guard toys and food, so that is something we will need to work on together. I am crate-trained and dog-door trained. I really enjoy using my brain and learning new things, so I'd love to train!

Does Henry like other pets?

I'd do best as the only dog in your home, but I get along fine with cats who respect my space. So long as the cats don't want to cuddle or rub on me, I'm fine with them.

Does Henry like children?

Young chldren make me very nervous, so I'd do best in a home with children 13 years or older who can respect my space.

Favorite Toys:

I'm not a huge lover of toys as I'd rather just gather them in a pile and watch over them—I'm not a big sharer of toys with other animals— but I enjoy chasing a ball every now and then! I really like things of the food variety such as stuffed kongs.

Ideal Forever Home:

I can be a bit nervous with new situations, so someone who can help me build my confidence outside of my home would be great! I am used to sleeping in a crate at night and hanging out there when someone isn't home. I have an average energy level. I love walks and could learn to be a running buddy, but I don't need a ton of exercise to be happy. Young children make me nervous, so a home with children 13 years or older would be best. Once I get to know you I'm a great friend who just wants to hang out with you, and I'm looking for someone willing to take the time to get to know me and love me for who I am. Cats are fine!
