Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I have never met a dog or person I don't like! I love lounging in the sun or engaging in high energy play. I am incredibly smart and I picked up 'sit' in just one day. I'd love a family that wants to spend lots of time with me and will continue to train with me. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly and highly intelligent companion, I'm your guy!!

General Socialization Notes:

I love to meet new friends, both human and furry. I love to train and I am so willing to learn. I would love for my new family to help me to continue to be the special, confident boy I am. I am making progress with potty training and crate training. I am very food motivated! I am also clicker trained.

Does Spooky like other animals?

Yes! I get along well with other dogs but I do need a gentle reminder, at times, to take breaks during play sessions. I'd do best with a younger, playful dog rather than an older dog who prefers quiet time. I'm not sure about cats, I haven't met any.

Does Spooky like children?

I would probably do well with older children that can help me with my boundaries. I may be a bit too much for younger children. With guidance, I could learn.

Favorite Toys:

I really love flirt poles!! I also love chew toys and anything that squeaks. I love tug of war, as well.

Ideal Forever Home:

I would love a home where I can balance play and relaxation and humans who want to spend time with me and play. I would do well with another dog who loves to wrestle and tug. A sunny spot for naps is a must!!
