Available Dogs

General Socialization Notes:

I love to meet new people, and I am super curious about everything.  I am learning to greet strangers appropriately by sitting instead of jumping.  I am potty trained for the most part - a big accomplishment at my age!  During the day I like to hang out in my pen or spend time learning new commands.  I already know sit, lie down, leave it, find it, and come.  Practicing is fun because it means lots of treats!

Does Teddy like other pets?

I get very excited when I meet other dogs, but then I settle down.  I haven't met any cats yet, but I do like to watch the birds and squirrels in my yard.

Does Teddy like children?

I have met children in my puppy socialization classes at All Breed, and I greet them nicely.  I have not lived with or spent any extended time with kiddos, but I think I would do just fine if I did!

Favorite toy?

Anything I can chew!  I love bully sticks and kongs, but am equally happy chewing sticks and leaves in the backyard, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on me.

Ideal forever home?

I need a home with a yard to play, explore, and relax in.  I would love a family who will continue bringing me to classes to keep my brain active, and who will take me on long walks and take me along on their adventures so I can experience lots of new things.  I love to climb over and under things, and go through all kinds of objects like I've seen other dogs do in agility class.  I would love a doggy sibling to keep me company and to teach me the ropes.
