Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I love to eat and will gobble anything including fruits and vegetables! I'm friendly and playful, especially with other dogs. I will be the perfect dog for someone who has a backyard or a property with land. I can be a bit anxious and shy at first, but being around other dogs definitely helps with anxiety. I am calm and quiet and I rarely bark. I'm a great companion if you like to go on walks and hikes.

General Socialization Notes:

I know sit, lay down, shake, place, and stay. I will eat almost any fruit or vegetable you throw at me and I'm a good catcher. I like baths and nail trimming. I am fully potty trained. I am very social and will play with any other friendly dog. I do need to work on confidence when alone. I am good on walks (alone), but will need training if you walk me with another dog. I need a safe space to help with my anxiety.

Does Asher like other animals?

I love other dogs. I am more playful and confident around other dogs. I don't know how I am with cats.

Does Asher like kids?

Yes, I have been living with an 11 year old and I am great. Not sure how I'd feel about smaller children since I've never met them.

Favorite toys?

I like to chew on Benebones. No stuffy toys, becauue I will eat the stuffing and get sick.

Ideal home

I am a larger dog and l love to run and play with other dogs, so a backyard or property with land will be ideal. I am definitely more confident and playful around other dogs.
