Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I love people! At first, I do need time to warm up, but once I trust you, I love you. I do get excited when I meet new people and will jump, but I'm working on that. I would do best as an only dog and no cats, please. I'd also do best with older children, 13 years and older.

General Socialization Notes:

I am a sweet boy. I do get a bit excited and jump up when I meet new people, but I am working on that. I am very smart and I'd love to continue to train. I may take a moment to warm up at first, but once I do, you are my best friend!

Does Bear like other pets?

I'd do best as an only dog so I can get all the love. I'd also do best in a home without cats.

Does Bear like children?

I'd do best with older children, 13 years and older.

Favorite Toys:

I love Benbones and any hard bones that I can chew on. I also love to play fetch!!

Ideal Home:

I'd love a family that I can spend time with and a family that wants to train with me. I'd love a yard to play in. I'd do best in a home as an only dog to get all the love and no cats, please!
