Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

Hello friends! I am a very goofy and fun loving girl. I need ample exercise and I would love to go on adventures. Running in the sunshine with you sounds like the best day. I love chasing rabbits and squirrels. Do you have a job for me to do? I thrive in an environment that gives me something to work on. I love playing with little humans. They blow bubbles and play in the sprinkler with me. I could go for hours! I'm full of love & life.

General Socialization Notes:

I'm a very social girl and I love to play. I do have a little trouble holding my potty when I'm alone in the house, so when you leave I like to curl up in my kennel with a bone and some cheese. Don't leave food too close to the edge of the counter though because it won't last long. Car rides can be a little scary for me but I love the adventure once I get where we are going. Walking through dog friendly stores and meeting new friends makes my day.

Does Tika like other animals?

I love playing with most dogs but I can be selective. I would probably get along best with another low energy dog that plays with me every now and then or I can be an only dog too. I love doggy daycare! My family now has a grumpy older pup who is not my biggest fan, so they told me everyone will be happier if I'm happier. I do fine with cats. I do try to play with them and when they tell me No, I listen. I sometimes chase them but I can also respect them.

Does Tika like children?

I love playing with children. I especially love fetch.

Favorite Toys:

I love chewing bones. Horns, kongs, puppy toys…. The occasional sock or stray shoe. I just get distracted easily and need lots of activity.

Ideal Forever Home:

Family is very important to me so I'd love a family that wants to spend time with me. I can't wait to learn new things with you! I may do best as an only dog so I can get all the love. I'd love an active family that loves adventure like me. Can't wait to meet you!
