Confront real-life situations designed to teach your dog reliable behavior no matter where you go. This is a required class in order to take any of the other Outdoor Adventure classes. These more advanced classes include OA Extreme: Hiking, OA Extreme: Water, OA Extreme: Restaurants, and OA Extreme: Nighttime.

Canine Freestyle Skills

Age Range: All

Price: $225, $25 deposit REQUIRED

Course Duration: 8 weeks

Requirements: Graduation from Canine Connection

Have a dance party with your dog! Teach your dog to move with you to the music. Both choreography and handling classes are available.

Just Tricks

Age Range: All

Price: $275, $25 deposit REQUIRED

Course Duration: 12 weeks

Requirements: Graduation from Canine Connection

Bring out your dog’s inner star! Teach your dogs a variety of tricks so they can show them off in a final doggie-tastic performance featuring all of the class participants. Past performances include: Gilligan's Island, Wizard of Paws, Charlie's Angels, The Dog in the Hat, and more!

Fun and Games

Age Range: All

Put your dog’s skills to the test in this fun, competitive, and game-driven environment. Some popular games include musical chairs, shark, and tic-tac-toe.

Safety Dog

Age Range: All

Price: $325, $25 deposit REQUIRED

Course Duration: 8 weeks

Requirements: Graduation from Canine Connection

Your dog wants to protect you—teach him or her how! Your dog will learn specific safety behaviors to keep you safe, such as growling on cue or searching a car or house.  NOTE: OFFERED VERY INFREQUENTLY.  PLEASE CONTACT US TO BE PUT ON A WAIT LIST.

Therapy Dog

Age Range: All

Price: $300, $25 deposit REQUIRED

Course Duration: 9 weeks

Requirements: Graduation from Canine Connection

Prepare your dog for therapy work with this course, which includes field trips to locations like nursing homes and hospitals. You and your dog will also test for the Community Canine (CGCA) title.

Your dog can attain full Therapy Dog Certification by taking all of the following courses:
