Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

I love everyone, it doesn't matter if you're someone I've known my whole life or a brand new friend, two or four legged. As a working dog breed, I have lots of energy but I can also take nice long naps at your feet. If you're lucky you can catch me with my trademark tongue-out face!

General Socialization Notes:

I am excellent around other dogs, cats, children, and adults of all ages. I am house trained, I know sit and come very well, and I am crate trained (I consider it my safe and comforting space!) I love to go to the dog park and go for walks, and will get extremely excited for them. Sometimes this excitement has only one way to get out, through whining and zoomies. I am excellent on car rides, staying silent and resting in the back. I'd make a great road trip companion. I am also terrific with baths. I do have an unusual and persistent craving for water. While odd and sometimes challenging (I love to try and eat snow), I have been seen by the doctor and confirmed to be completely healthy. I'm just a thirsty boy!

Does Thor like other animals?

Yes, I do very well with other animals.

Does Thor like children?

Yes, I've always done really well with children.

Ideal Forever Home:

I'd love a home with a fenced back yard to run, play, sunbathe, and lay in the snow during winter. I could live in a home with other dogs and children. I'd really do well with a family that is very active too.
